Union Berlin remained undefeated in their preseason matches with a thrilling 4-4 draw against Glasgow Rangers. In front of a crowd of 21,108 fans, the teams put on an exciting display of attacking football. The first half saw both sides creating numerous chances, with goals coming thick and fast.

The Berliners took an early lead through a brilliant volley from Haberer in the 5th minute. However, Dessers leveled the score for Rangers with a skillful finish in the 14th minute. The game continued to see-saw with Jordan converting a penalty to put Union ahead 2-1, only for Lawrence to equalize with a precise shot into the bottom left corner. The Rangers then took the lead before Haberer scored his second to make it 3-3 just before halftime.

In the second half, Youngster Preu put Union back in front with a goal in the 59th minute, but Dessers completed his brace with a goal in the 68th minute to secure a 4-4 draw for Rangers. Union’s coach, Svensson, praised his team’s performance, highlighting their strong showing with the ball. Overall, it was a valuable experience for Union Berlin as they continue their preseason preparations with an undefeated record so far.
