Monza is not slowing down in their quest to strengthen their squad and is showing keen interest in goalkeeper Stefano Turati. The club is set to advance talks with Sassuolo in the coming days as they seek a reliable option in goal. Turati, who had a successful season on loan at Frosinone, is seen as a solid addition.
On the attacking front, Monza is eyeing Armand Laurienté, the talented winger from Sassuolo. His pace, dribbling skills, and shooting ability make him an attractive target, and recently, Parma has also expressed interest. Laurienté is reportedly the top priority for Parma’s coach, Fabio Pecchia.
In terms of attacking reinforcements, Gianluca Gaetano is making headlines with a potential move back to Cagliari after a six-month stint last season. However, negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, with Cagliari offering €8 million while Napoli is holding out for between €10-12 million. Despite the distance in valuation, there is a strong belief that an agreement will be reached.
Another target for Monza is Alessio Zerbin, a left winger from Napoli. Zerbin is considered a good fit for a position where the current player, Kyriakopoulos, has not been delivering enough. Monza is also in search of a midfielder skilled in ball distribution. Miretti from Juventus has been a popular choice, yet he seems set for a move to Genoa instead. Other names in the mix include Giulio Maggiore, who is eager to remain in Serie A following Salernitana’s relegation, and Amadou Diawara, a Guinean midfielder currently at Anderlecht, although he has not been a firm priority.
In defense, there is confirmed interest in right-back Davide Faraoni from Verona. Meanwhile, Shpendi and Guarino could soon be on their way to Carrarese as part of a roster reshuffle. Monza is also preparing to welcome a promising talent, Hemsley Akpa Chukwu, a young Belgian striker who has already made an appearance for Bari, but will initially join Monza’s youth setup.
Genoa is also busy in the transfer market, with ongoing discussions with Juventus regarding a loan deal for Fabio Miretti. This deal has gained momentum recently and is expected to be finalized soon. With Weston McKennie rejoining the squad, Miretti’s playing time at Juventus could be limited, making Genoa a more viable option for him to gain regular minutes.
Moreover, Genoa is exploring the possibility of bringing in Williot Swedberg, an offensive midfielder from Celta Vigo. Although the director of football, Ottolini, has a prior relationship with the player, this option seems far from becoming a reality at the moment.
Udinese is making moves in the goalkeeper department as well, having conducted medical checks for their new backup, Razvan Sava, who impressed during his debut season with Bologna. Sava is expected to sign a four-year contract, with his transfer from Cluj valued at €2.5 million, potentially rising to €3 million with performance-related bonuses.
With Sava’s arrival, current goalkeeper Silvestri may be on his way out, likely seeking playtime elsewhere. Venezia is expected to acquire him for around €5 million, including bonuses, and discussions are ongoing about adding a sell-on clause related to Nicolussi Caviglia, another player looking to transition out of Juventus. Caviglia’s announcement could come shortly as he reportedly signs a five-year deal.
Finally, Udinese has set its sights on Joel Schingtienne, a 22-year-old center-back from Leuven, for a fee of €3.5 million, with intentions for a four-year contract. As the transfer window progresses, Italian clubs are actively pursuing deals to bolster their rosters.
