Juventus will pay an initial fee of €4 million for the loan, with the potential to add €2-3 million in bonuses. Furthermore, the club has the option to buy the player outright at the end of the season for €20 million.
Kalulu is the defender that Motta has been looking for. He is a natural right-footed player but is also capable of playing as a left-center-back, as a member of a three-man defense, or even as a right-back. His versatility was key in convincing both the coach and the Juventus hierarchy that he would be a valuable addition to the squad.
