Instead, it’s his son, Federico Spalletti, known as Chicco, who has taken a significant step in his football career. The 29-year-old has joined Juventus as part of their scouting team, focusing particularly on youth recruitment.
Chicco Spalletti brings a diverse skill set to the team; he speaks five languages and gained valuable experience working at Udinese last season. He has also been involved with the technical departments of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), which positions him well for his new role at Juventus.
He will be part of an expanded scouting area, which is being led by Stefano Stefanelli. Stefanelli has a long history of collaboration with Cristiano Giuntoli, dating back to their time together at Carpi. The scouting team also includes Matteo Serra, who has recently garnered praise for his work as a scout at Paris Saint-Germain.
