Juventus has unveiled a charitable initiative by displaying the “Save the Children” logo on their jerseys during tonight’s match against Como. This partnership, which started in 2018, has now been renewed, showcasing Juventus’s commitment to important social causes.
The club’s official statement highlights that the collaboration now includes the women’s team as well. The primary goal of this joint effort is to combat educational inequalities, emphasizing the club’s dedication to youth. Juventus aims to make young people the focus of both its sporting and social strategies, with various initiatives supporting their education, personal development, and integration.
The club also drew attention to the “Punto Luce” initiative by Save the Children in La Vallette, a neighborhood located just 800 meters from Allianz Stadium. Juventus has played a significant role in renovating and supporting this educational hub, which caters to children and teenagers aged 0 to 18. This facility, which was launched in 2019, has seen renovations and expansions as recently as July 2022.
This charitable sponsorship is set to continue indefinitely, serving as a temporary solution while Juventus searches for a new commercial partner. This follows the end of their long-standing agreement with Jeep at the conclusion of the last season.
