Sassuolo Targets Gytkjaer as Transfer Moves Heat Up in Serie A Market

Sassuolo is preparing to welcome Christian Gytkjaer from Venezia as the club has been busy in recent days. Initially, they aimed to bring Gianluca Lapadula from Cagliari, but after failed negotiations, they have set their sights on the Danish striker. Following the return of goalkeeper Sirigu and the signing of Turkish defender Baniya, Sassuolo is now looking to bolster their attack by negotiating with Celta Vigo for 24-year-old Tadeo Allende, with an outcome expected soon.

Meanwhile, West Ham has faced issues with their center-forward position in recent seasons. The arrival of Niclas Füllkrug has prompted them to pursue Tammy Abraham. This deal, which is progressing well, is based on a figure of around £22-23 million (with a loan and obligation to buy). If successful, this transfer will allow Roma to strengthen their squad. Abraham, earning £6 million, is currently negotiating his contract. With the expected funds from the sale, Roma is planning to make a move for Kevin Danso, the Austrian defender from Lens, alongside Saudi right-back Saud Abdulhamid from Al-Hilal for a fee of €2.5 million plus €500,000 in bonuses.

Victor Osimhen is waiting for interest from Paris Saint-Germain, but communication between the Parisians and Napoli has stalled. His agent, Roberto Calenda, is working swiftly to find a solution, with PSG’s price expectations potentially being far lower than Napoli’s asking price of at least €100 million. Chelsea has made an offer during talks over Romelu Lukaku, but Osimhen does not seem convinced by the Blues. There is a possibility that a club in Saudi Arabia could provide an alternative, as Al Ahli has made a preliminary bid of €65 million that could satisfy Napoli, though the decision lies with the player.

In other transfer news, the situation regarding Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners has seen a decisive move; after receiving positive feedback from the Bergamasque management, optimism has grown around his signing, which would be the eighth acquisition for Juventus this summer. There may be more moves to come, especially with Jadon Sancho still on their radar. Much will depend on Federico Chiesa, who is awaiting developments from Barcelona or any interest from English clubs. If Manchester United allows a loan without obligation while covering part of Sancho’s salary, a deal could be completed before the transfer window closes.

The Colombian player has returned to Serie A following his time at Inter, and he is expected to undergo medicals and sign a contract soon. Juan Musso, the Argentine goalkeeper, appears set to join Atletico Madrid on loan, with an option to buy that may become obligatory based on certain conditions. Only minor details remain before this transfer is finalized. In his place, Rui Patricio, a free agent, will join and bring with him vast international experience both at the club and national level.
