Nico Gonzalez Close to Joining Juventus for €32 Million Plus Bonuses

Nico Gonzalez is set to join Juventus from Fiorentina, with a deal nearing completion. The Italian club will pay an immediate fee of €32 million, plus €3-4 million in bonuses tied to performance targets that Gonzalez can achieve during the season. Negotiations between the two clubs will remain open for further potential transfers, including that of Kostic, who has requested extra time to consider his options, and Arthur, who is eager to return to Fiorentina. However, any deals involving them would be handled separately.

What tipped the balance in favor of Gonzalez’s move to Juventus was the player’s own determination. After reaching an agreement with the club on a contract worth €4 million per season, he turned down other offers, including one from Atalanta. Gonzalez will be one of several attacking options added to Juventus’ squad as the summer transfer window draws to a close. The club’s next target appears to be Koopmeiners, and they are also looking at at least one player from Conceicao or Sancho, possibly both, if they can secure good fees from the sales of Kostic and Chiesa.

The final steps for Gonzalez’s transfer to Juventus include the exchange of documents and medical examinations, expected to take place early next week.
