Juve’s Federico Chiesa Faces Exclusion as Transfer Talks Heat Up

At Juventus’ training ground, there has been a significant shift regarding Federico Chiesa’s situation. The talented forward has enjoyed special treatment until now, training with Thiago Motta’s group despite not fitting into the club’s current plans. However, this has come to an abrupt end; Chiesa will now train away from the first team alongside other players who are not in the coach’s plans, during different hours from the main squad.

Chiesa remains adamant about his contract, which runs until 2025, as he seeks to leave the club on a free transfer. There are growing concerns that he may have already reached an agreement with another club for a move in June 2025, potentially leaving Juventus with nothing in return for a player they have invested significantly in over the years in terms of transfer fees and wages.

Juventus is pushing for an immediate sale to recoup some of their investment. Motta does not see Chiesa fitting into his tactical plans, citing issues with the player’s willingness to engage in the defensive work required. The ongoing contractual situation is complicating matters, and the club’s latest decision has intensified the impasse.

As the summer transfer window approaches its end in just fifteen days, it seems that the chance for reconciliation between Chiesa and Juventus has dwindled. This hardline approach taken by the club indicates their desire to resolve the situation quickly, rather than letting it drag on with little hope of resolution.
