Inter Signs Young Argentine Defender Tomas Palacios on Long-Term Deal

Tomas Palacios is set to join Inter Milan after completing his medicals at the Humanitas clinic in Rozzano and then at the CONI center to secure clearance for competitive sports. The young Argentine defender, born in 2003 and a left-footed player, is a promising talent who has been a key figure in Argentina’s Under-20 national team.

This morning, he arrived at Malpensa airport, and later today, he will finalize his move to Inter by signing a contract that will tie him to the club until 2029. The signing comes as a response to a call from defender Alessandro Bastoni, who requested additional cover following the injury of Tajon Buchanan.

Inter Milan has signed Palacios from Argentine club Talleres for €6.5 million, plus bonuses, after he spent time on loan at Independiente Rivadavia. With this move, Inter is looking to bolster its defensive options for the next several seasons. As fans await the official announcement, excitement builds around the potential impact Palacios could have on the squad.
