Inter and Milan Consider Buying San Siro Stadium, Talks with City Ongoing

In Milan, the future of San Siro stadium is becoming a hot topic as both Inter and AC Milan explore the possibility of purchasing the iconic venue. According to the City of Milan, the two clubs are currently working with a team of technical and legal advisors to assess the technical and financial aspects of acquiring San Siro or the rights to use the stadium and its surrounding areas.

This information was confirmed by the City, which stated that Milan’s mayor, Giuseppe Sala, received an update from both clubs regarding the Giuseppe Meazza stadium. An important meeting is scheduled for the second week of September between city officials and representatives from Inter and Milan. This discussion could potentially pave the way for WeBuild’s renovation project, after the clubs have considered various proposals for new stadiums in alternative locations like Rozzano/Assago and San Donato.

With both clubs keen on securing their home ground, this move could mark a significant shift in Milan’s football landscape, as they aim to modernize and improve the facilities at San Siro.
