Fonseca Sets Scudetto Ambition as Team Impresses in US Tour Finale

Paulo Fonseca is feeling very satisfied at the end of the American tour, which not only brought luxurious victories but also boosts confidence and positive vibes. The coach has clear ideas and significant aspirations as he looks ahead to the season. “What is the aim for the season? To win the Scudetto,” he stated emphatically.

Fonseca’s focus is not just on the goal but also on the progress of his players. “I am very pleased with the team, with the courage they show and the way they play. All the players have demonstrated clear intentions, which is impressive after just four weeks of training. The guys have been fantastic during this time. We have a lot to improve, but we are taking the right steps,” he added.

The coach also highlighted some individual performances during the tour. He singled out Christian Pulisic, saying, “Pulisic had a fantastic game for me. I really enjoy seeing him in this position; he contributes a lot. What does he bring to AC Milan? He had a great first season and will continue to be very important—there’s no doubt about that.”

Fonseca also praised the young goalkeeper, Torriani, who stepped up after Sportiello’s injury occurred at the hotel. “I can only say great things about him; I have no words. Torriani played with immense personality and courage. It’s still early, but I have no doubts that we have a goalkeeper for the future. This goalkeeper will have a great future ahead of him.”

With these positive reflections, Fonseca is shaping a team that is ready to chase their dreams and aspirations in the upcoming season.
