Dybala Agrees to Al-Qadsiah’s Offer, Roma Hesitates on Transfer Deal

Paulo Dybala has reportedly come to an agreement with Al-Qadsiah, but AS Roma seems hesitant to enter negotiations. It appears the club is waiting to assess the situation before diving into talks regarding the talented Argentine forward. The Dybala transfer saga has taken another twist, with both parties currently discussing potential solutions. A face-to-face meeting is anticipated, which could lead to a resolution soon.

Today, Dybala accepted a lucrative three-year contract from Al-Qadsiah worth €20 million plus bonuses, which could elevate his annual earnings to around €25 million, totaling approximately €75 million over the contract’s duration. After some reflection and uncertainty, the 29-year-old forward confirmed his decision to accept the offer, which initially came in on August 1 but was later improved.

A key figure in this decision is Mauro Cetto, Dybala’s friend and chief scout at Al-Qadsiah, who previously played alongside him at Palermo. Cetto was one of the first to learn about Dybala’s choice. This morning, the Roma star participated in a training session at Trigoria, where some fans awaited him and presented him with personalized artworks as a show of support.

Following training, Dybala informed Roma of his decision, yet the club insists they have not received any formal offer from Al-Qadsiah. Reports suggest that the Saudi club may propose €3 million plus €5 million in bonuses for Dybala’s transfer. To clarify matters, meetings are ongoing between Roma’s management and Carlos Novel, Dybala’s new agent. It seems likely that a conclusion will be reached soon, with the outcome appearing more favorable for Dybala’s departure than for him staying in the Italian capital.
