Como and Genoa Officially Announce New Signings from Manchester City, Juventus

Máximo Perrone has officially joined Como on loan from Manchester City. The 21-year-old midfielder arrived at City in January 2023 and spent last season playing for Las Palmas. His move to the Italian club will provide him with the opportunity for more regular first-team football.

In other news, Fabio Miretti has also joined Genoa on loan from Juventus. The club announced his arrival stating, “Fabio Miretti is a new player for Genoa. The midfielder, born in Pinerolo on August 3, 2003, comes temporarily from Juventus. Having developed in the Juve youth system, he has made 58 appearances in Serie A and has also played 10 games in the Champions and Europa League. He lifted the Coppa Italia with Juve in the 2023/2024 season.”

Empoli striker Ciccio Caputo is set to leave the club, with his contract termination expected to be officially confirmed soon. After the arrival of Colombo and being benched for the first two official matches of the season, the 37-year-old has reportedly decided to part ways with the Tuscan side. His future destination remains uncertain, but Empoli is considering Okereke as a potential replacement.

Raoul Bellanova has joined Como from Torino to strengthen their right flank, but this does not rule out a move for Juan Cuadrado, as negotiations are still underway.

Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italiano is pushing for a central defender. The club recently met with Jakub Kiwior’s agent, with the only option available being a loan with a high purchase option. Arsenal is rumored to want between €18 and €20 million for the Polish defender.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart, set to compete in the Champions League, has shown interest in Portuguese defender, who joined Juventus last January for €3.5 million. Stuttgart has made inquiries about a loan and is currently pressing for a green light from the player.

Filip Kostić and Arthur Melo are still under consideration for Fiorentina. With Nico Gonzalez’s situation resolved, discussions could reopen regarding the two Juventus players, who are deemed surplus to requirements. For Arthur, it would be a return, having spent last season on loan in Florence.

Finally, Thomas Palacios has arrived in Milan after a long journey with a stop in Madrid. The final details regarding a resale percentage of around 10% are being finalized, while the transfer fee is set at €6.5 million, with potential bonuses that could increase the total by up to €4.5 million. The next step involves medical tests scheduled for tomorrow at Humanitas in Rozzano, after which he will obtain his sports eligibility and finalize the signing.
