Ciro Immobile Shines in Besiktas Debut with Two Goals in Turkish Supercup Win

Ciro Immobile had a fantastic debut with Besiktas, making headlines after scoring two goals in a stunning 5-0 victory over Galatasaray. The former Lazio striker became the star of the match, helping his new team secure the Turkish Super Cup against a tough opponent featuring Mauro Icardi.

Immobile wasted no time getting on the scoresheet, finding the net just 21 seconds into the game. He took advantage of a defensive error from Galatasaray, leaving goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, another former Lazio player, with no chance to save. His second goal came from the penalty spot, adding to the scoreline as Besiktas dominated throughout the match.

In addition to Immobile’s contributions, goals from Svensson, Rafa Silva, and Hekimoglu rounded out the crushing win for Besiktas. This could not have been a better start for the 34-year-old forward, who has 57 appearances for the Italian national team and enjoyed a successful eight-year stint with Lazio before his move to Turkey.
