Federico Chiesa’s future remains uncertain as he appears to be drifting further away from Juventus. The Italian winger has been in discussions with various clubs, both in Italy and beyond, but has yet to settle on a new destination. One club interested in him is Turkish side Besiktas, which recently signed Ciro Immobile from Italy. However, Besiktas’ vice president Hüseyin Yücel has put the brakes on any potential deal, citing financial concerns.
Yücel stated in a recent interview with a Turkish television channel, “Yes, we have been talking about Chiesa for about ten days. But I must clarify that Chiesa is asking for a salary of €9 million, while Juventus is reportedly paying around €15 million. Currently, there are seven clubs tracking him, but these demands are not reasonable, and it doesn’t seem possible to meet them. As of today, Chiesa is no longer on Besiktas’ agenda: the club’s interests are much more important than the names of individual players.”
With Chiesa’s high salary expectations and Juve’s financial commitments, it seems finding a suitable transfer will be a challenging task. As the summer transfer window continues to evolve, many will be watching closely to see where Chiesa’s career will lead him next.
