Atalanta Fans in Warsaw Await Historic Super Cup Clash Against Real Madrid

Atalanta fans are strolling through Warsaw, feeling relaxed and confident as they prepare for a historic night. Families, teenagers, children, adults, and couples filled the streets, all in anticipation of their match at the National Stadium against Real Madrid, featuring their latest stars: Mbappe, Bellingham, Rodrygo, Vinicius, Valverde, Courtois, Guler, and Endrick. The only name missing is Camavinga, who suffered an injury during training yesterday.

This is a monumental occasion for the Bergamaschi, as they are set to compete for the UEFA Super Cup against the legendary champions. Over 6,000 Atalanta supporters have made the trip to Warsaw. Earlier this season, around 8,000 attended the Europa League final in Dublin. Many fans arrived in masses between yesterday and this morning, undeterred by the bustling Ferragosto holiday. Some drove to Poland, while others flew into nearby airports, like Katowice and Poznan, before heading to the city. Others took the opportunity to visit Krakow, turning their football journey into a mini vacation before cheering on La Dea.

The main gathering spot for supporters is the Vistula Boulevards, located across the river from the stadium. They can easily reach it via the metro to the Centrum Nauki Kopernik station on the M2 line. Fans of Atalanta have been showing up since early in the morning, with pride evident in their smiles. The most popular shirts among the supporters read “Champions of Europe.”

Real Madrid fans, meanwhile, have settled in a closer area to the stadium, also appearing calm and composed as they seek yet another trophy. But for both sets of fans, one thing is certain: this match promises to be anything but easy.
