Chelsea is considering selling Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen, and Armando Broja this summer if they receive good offers. Gallagher and Chalobah, both 24, were important under former manager Mauricio Pochettino but his departure has left their future uncertain. Gallagher is valued at around £50m and wants to wait before making a move due to his call up to the England squad for the European Championship.
Chalobah, with four years left on his contract, is not in a rush to leave Chelsea. Maatsen, currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, is also up for sale with a £35m release clause. Striker Broja, who had a tough loan spell at Fulham, is drawing interest from other European clubs. The two loanees may move before June 30 to help Chelsea comply with financial rules.
Despite these potential sales, Chelsea remains committed to investing in the team. The club has denied any actions related to concerns about financial rules. They have already agreed on a deal for 17-year-old Estevao Willian from Palmeiras but he won’t join the team until 2025. Chelsea has spent over £1bn on transfers in recent years and continues to focus on strengthening the squad for the future.
