PSG squad for last Ligue 1 game without Mbappé

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) wrapped up their season with a visit to Metz on Sunday for the final matchday of Ligue 1. Manager Luis Enrique selected a 20-man squad for the trip, excluding star forward Kylian Mbappé from the lineup, while his brother Ethan made the cut. The likes of Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, Marquinhos, Fabian Ruiz, and Gianluigi Donnarumma were also left out for the game.

Kylian Mbappé bid adieu to Ligue 1 in PSG’s last match against Toulouse, which they won 3-1. The French superstar is set to feature in the Coupe de France final against Lyon on May 25 before departing the club this summer. With his PSG career drawing to a close, Mbappé will look to leave a lasting impact in the domestic cup final before his anticipated move.

The absence of Mbappé and other key players from the squad underlines the changing dynamics at PSG ahead of the next season. As the Parisian outfit prepares for a new era, fans will witness a shift in personnel and strategies. With Mbappé’s imminent departure adding to the transitional phase, PSG will look to maintain their competitiveness domestically and in Europe as they navigate through changes in the squad.
