Villarreal Unveils Interactive Museum, “Imersión Villarreal”

Villarreal has unveiled its new interactive museum, “Imersión Villarreal,” as the final piece of a major renovation project at the Estadio de La Cerámica to celebrate the club’s centennial. The museum takes fans on a journey through the team’s history, featuring old jerseys, memorabilia, and interactive elements like videos and games to relive iconic moments, including a replica of the Europa League trophy and penalties against Manchester United. The museum, designed to resemble a submarine, offers a unique and engaging experience for visitors.

Club president Fernando Roig expressed his excitement about the project, emphasizing its significance in showcasing the club’s history and connecting with fans. The museum, created by Mediapro Xperiences, aims to be a dynamic space that can evolve over time with digital content and the club’s ongoing efforts to preserve its heritage. The immersive experience is set to open to the public this Friday, operating on match days and offering online ticket sales, including a stadium tour for visitors to enjoy.

As fans anticipate the museum’s grand opening, discussions about the future of players like Alex Baena and Alexander Sorloth, who are currently making headlines as top performers for Villarreal, have sparked interest. However, President Roig remained tight-lipped on the matter, simply saying, “No comment” regarding potential offers for the rising stars. The museum promises to be a new focal point for fans and visitors alike, showcasing the rich history and unique identity of Villarreal CF in an engaging and interactive manner.
